In the summer of 2022, we conducted our first Partner Satisfaction Survey, to evaluate our own performance as a philanthropic partner. More than 300 individuals from the region’s nonprofits responded, providing valuable feedback and insights. More than 80% gave high marks to Dogwood staff for their responsiveness, professionalism and compassion, as well as for the demonstrated trust in partner organizations. Sixty percent reported that Dogwood’s application process was very easy or somewhat easy. While the overall results reflected favorably on partner interactions with our staff and our grantmaking processes, we will continually work to become increasingly transparent, accountable and responsive.
